Planning a Wedding

Planning a wedding can be one of the most overwhelming tasks for any adult in their lifetime. It feels like I can never be too detailed for a large close-knit family like mines. I had over 300 family members and friends who saw me walk down the aisle. The long guest list included 22 kids between the ages of 4 and 8. Aside from the flowers, the wedding dress, and the super deluxe wedding cake, I was worried about how to entertain and distract the little ones. I had images of my hyperactive 5-year old niece running across the dance floor and knocking the wedding cake off the table.

In the midst of my nuptial frenzy, a co-worker of mine suggested I should create some fun and engaging activities for the kids. After all, a wedding is also a family event and children should enjoy themselves as much as the adults. She mentioned about having a “kiddie” space that included a bounce house. So, I decided to do some research on bounce house rentals. At first, I was a little skeptical, but I liked the different types of bounce houses available. Then I set my eyes on an interactive bounce house that include an inflatable slide. I knew my niece and other kids would enjoy it. I decided to tell the prospective groom and a few family members about it. I wanted to keep it as a surprise for the kids and adult guests.

I must say my wedding day went smoothly without a hitch. I remember the kids screaming faces once they saw the bounce house. The adults were quite impressed and relieved that they can have a little time to schmooze with the other grownups. Some even asked about how to get a bounce house rental for their events. The only problem was trying to get the kids off the bouncing house near the end of the reception. Till this day, my niece calls that special day the “bounce house wedding.”

Thank you to all the vendors that made this happen, and if you ever need a bounce house rental dallas, please give them a call.  They have over 50 bounce houses to choose from.
